Lockwood Motors in Marshall, MN was looking for a brand refresh. The directive was pretty wide open, aside from a desire to get away from their previous logo, which had landscape elements on it like trees. My approach was to play on the “lock” part of their name, and have the K intersect with the W on “wood,” then carrying that interlocking space over into different elements of their branding, from the cylinder around the logo to accents on their social media graphics and website banners.
