Little Chicago Chophouse is a fine dining restaurant located in Canterbury Park, in Shakopee, MN. During Prohibition, Shakopee was a place where Twin Cities’ residents retreated for underground bars, widespread gambling, and thick steaks. Shakopee was nicknamed ‘Little Chicago’. When designing the logo, I tried to stylistically call back to that era, but still reflect the elegant, upscale experience of the restaurant. Fun fact: I got to help decorate the interior of the space - it was fun searching for vintage treasures to help tell the story!
